Starting this week, Alfie will update only monday through thursday. So 4 updates instead of 5. There are a couple of reasons for me chosing to do that:

1.Change of format

Between changing Alfie to a bigger format, and trying to put more work into the backgrounds and shading, the workload for each page pretty much doubled.  I hoped I could keep up with it somehow, but after 10 pages of chapter 4 I see I can’t. I need to slow down.

2.Quality

I want the comic to look and read well. I need enough time to makes sure it all works properly. The last 10 pages looked good because that was pretty much all I worked on since the beginning of march. Once I start working on other projects that I have to finish in march, the quality of individual Alfie pages would suffer. Can’t have that.

3.Time

I could pull off 5 updates a week with even better art quality than right now if Alfie was the only thing I am working on. But with the other obligations for my patreon I can’t do that. Something has to give. I’d love to focus on just doing a webcomic someday. I could spend all of my time on it, make sure every page is great, and update 5-7 times a week, but that’s not possible right now. I think I need variety to grow as an artist. And I need money that comes from drawing pretty pictures with dickgirls haha. Angsty midgets with big tits don’t bring in that much money :D

Ideally I will go back to updating 5 times a week if I figure out a way to do it right. This comic will be very long. I will most likely work on it for the next 2-3 years. If I don’t plan this right, I’ll burn out halfway through and it will be awful for everybody.
